Santa Barbara City College tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a college that’s got history, character, and a surprisingly lively scene? Santa Barbara City College, right in the heart of Santa Barbara, is more than just a community college. Since 2001, they’ve hosted an awesome annual reading event that brings together authors and storytellers from all over the country, think lively debates, book signings, and a real sense of community. The campus itself is pretty eco-conscious too, having earned green building accreditation back in 2012, which honestly makes you feel good about your visit. Planning to visit? If you’re coming from the east, hop on Hwy 192 west, then jump onto US Highway 101 North, and take the Calle San Pascual exit. If you’re already on the 101 heading west, just exit at Carrillo Ave and turn onto State Street, easy peasy. And for those who love a good vibe, the college’s theatre program is worth checking out. From the excitement of front-row Mrs. Christie seats to VIP sections at shows like It’s A Wonderful Life, they really know how to make theatre nights special. Plus, their interactive seating charts make the ticket buying process a breeze. Whether you’re a theater buff or just looking for a fun night out, Santa Barbara City College offers a lively atmosphere and some memorable experiences, no doubt about it.
